    Coach Meg

Personal
Coach Meg grew up in South Jordan, Utah where she graduated from Herriman High School in 2018. After high school, she attended both Utah State University and Utah Valley University and will be graduating spring of 2024 with her bachelors degree in Exercise Science. This will be her first official year coaching at Jordan!

Athletic
Coach Meg ran track and cross country for Herriman High School and LOVED the 3200 meter. Her sophomore year, she helped the girls track team win their 4th State Championship title by competing in the 4x400m relay. Her senior year, she placed 6th in the 3200m at State to earn the last coveted spot on the podium. She earned a scholarship to run for Utah Valley University where she competed for 2 years before transferring to Utah State. She ran up in Logan for 1 year before a chronic achilles injury ended her collegiate running career. After taking a year off of school, she went back to UVU and got a job as an assistant cross country coach at Corner Canyon for the 2022 season. She helped coach the girls to a 3rd place finish at the State Championships and the boys to a 6th place finish. Now that her achilles have healed, she hopes that she will be able to start training competitively again and has plans to start competing in anything from the 5k to the marathon.
