Summer Week 9 (July 25th-July 30th)

Thanks to the Pease family for helping with our pancake breakfast last Friday!


The season is quickly approaching so please pay special attention to each of the following!  

Time Trials and a season parent meeting will be on August 8th in the evening.  This is how will choose varsity.  

Our first race is coming up on August 13th. Eligibility will be DUE August 1st! 

You cannot compete until all the steps are finished. 

  • Create an account and complete all the steps on registermyathlete.com

  • Have an up-to-date physical. PHYSICAL FORM HERE All pages must be completed.

  • Fees paid ($60 participation fee, spirit pack fee and uniform fee if needed)

  • This will be available to pay once I see you've started registermyathlete.

  • Read over our team disclosure. READ HERE

  • E-Sign that you have read and understand. E-SIGN HERE

Is hosting a Fall Sport Register My Athlete open-house to answer any RMA questions. It will be held July 28th from 6-8 PM here at the school in the media center. If you have any questions about this program or eligibility, that night would be a great time to have those questions addressed.

For the spirit pack everyone must have a grey shirt.  Select the size or mark if you have one from last year.  All the additional gear is optional.  Please consider supporting our program by getting a parent/fan support shirt.

If you have a uniform from last year you won't need to worry about another one.  If you need a uniform please talk to Coach Shaw about renting or buying.  Renting is $20 for the season and buying is $40 but can be used later.  

If you ran with our program over the summer and haven't paid the summer fee, please take care of that this week thank you!  PAY HERE

We will start with an afternoon practice this Friday!  Make sure to drink lots of water and come prepared! 


Weekly Schedule

Monday- JHS west side of tennis courts (by the group of 3 trees) @ 7:15 am

Tuesday- JHS Weightroom 7:00 am for all athletes.

Wednesday-   Team Canyon Run in the Town of Alta at 7:15 am.
Directions: Starting from the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon (where the park and ride is at) drive 8.5 miles up the canyon to the destination. 

Drive up to the parking spot right before the Alta Toll Booth.  This is right before Albion Basin Road. There are places to park on the north side of the road before and near the pay booth (parking there is free).  If transportation is a concern reach out to other athletes to form a carpool.  Be safe driving up and down the canyon.

Meet on the north side by the cafeteria doors. Please bring a side to share!
